This is a wonderful expression you may start to use meaning that someone is not paying any attention to you, in fact they act as if you did not even exist, they ignore you (in Italian: non dar retta a qualcuno, non degnarlo di uno sguardo).

*The boy asked her out on a date but she wouldn’t give him the time of day
*We proposed a new price but they would not give us the time of day
*I have been trying to talk to you but you would not give me the time of day!
