    I had never had

I had never had brazilian food, until I my trip to Rio last month.

Why have we not used the "tripped" in the above sentence?

    Re: I had never had

    Capitalize "Brazilian" and remove "I".

It is possible to use "tripped" as an intransitive verb, but in my experience that is not very common.

Because trip is a noun in that sentence.
