    Exposure

    Hello,

Right now I am watching TV series "Running Wild with Bear Grylls". In one episode Bear says: The terrain around here is a very steep granite, there´s a lot of exposure, a lot of vertical hight ... etc." (they are about to climb a mountain)

Can anybody tell me what the guy means by exposure? I have looked it up but still I am not certain ...

    Thank you very much.

    Re: Exposure

... and I'm sure you meant "vertical height".
