    Exclamation phrasal verbs

    hello, it's phrasals again!
    the phrasal verb 'lie with'

    who do you think is to blame for the accident?
    in my opinion the fault lie with the council for not taking better precautions.

    could you tell me another example with this phrasal?

    The fault lies with the ....
    It is the council's fault as it has not taken better ...

    We can say that a problem, solution or fault lies with/in/ - ... to show what this problem, solution, fault consists of, involves or is caused by.

    1. They will assume that, as a woman, the fault lies with me.
    2. The broblem lay in the large amounts of money spent on defence.
    3. He realised his future lay elsewhere.
