My parents arrived at the airport yesterday.

Is there any object in this sentence?

I understand answer is NO. Object is acted by a subject.
Why we can't say that "arrived" is object here?

"arrived" is a verb. "the airport" is the object of the preposition "at".

I think 'to arrive', a non-finite verb, functions as an object in 'My parents intended to arrive at the airport yesterday'.

Can we construct passive of this sentence?

No, we can't because at the airport is not the object of the verb arrive, which is intransitive here. At the airport is functioning as an adverbial telling is where they arrived.

When I grow up I want to be just as smart as you.
