[Vocabulary] IS the Prouds wrong?

Hello.

I am writing a novel about a tribe called the Prouds. Because they were very proud and never give in to anybody.
Is the word Prouds wrong, because Word program puts red line under it. Is it because adjective for plural comes in singular form like the poor, the rich?

Simply can I use the Word Prouds a name for the tribe? I also want to name my novel The Prouds reffering to the tribe, can I?

Do not we say the braves for example?

First of all, you can use whatever word you want to for that fictional tribe of yours.

Word marks "Prouds" wrong because "proud" is an adjective, and it has no plural form. (But see the previous paragraph.)

Terms like "the poor" and "the rich" are not adjectives. They are nouns. And they are already plural.

You need to work on your punctuation.
