Would you be kind enough as to help me understand the difference between these two sentences?
I will not have you do to him what you did to me.
I will not let you do to him what you did to me.
The way I see it, the only difference is that 'have' seems to be slightly more formal.
They mean the same. The first one is considerably more formal.
