    Re: GEPT questions 2

I am sure D is the "correct" answer for 6, but a case could be made for A.

Say you were the editor of a newspaper and wanted to get an interview. Unfortunately, the wife wouldn't talk to your reporters.

Thank you for your correction, I very need the assistance correcting my sentence like this.
    The answers are:
    1.(B)
    2.(B)
    3.(C)
    4.(B)
    5.(B)
    6.(D)
    7.(D)

    You are all right!

May I ask you or others kind guys the following question?

1.Why can't choose C or D? In Chinese, the B,C, and D are all smooth in sentence. I looked a website up, it's saying that besides is used to emphasize an additional point.
So, when I read the context, if the following sentence is emphasizing the last sentence, like "even", I should choose besides?
But website also says: You use of course in order to emphasize a statement that you are making, especially when you are agreeing or disagreeing with someone.

2.I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you. In this sentence, can I omit "this"? I think "this" is the appositive.

3.I have been doubting that why people can't get an early up when they are during the journey.

4.I have totally understanding nothing with this question. Why can't A or C, I google for "anyone of you" or "all of you" then displaying a lots of sentences.

5.Why can't choose A? Now that = as long as?

    6.I go with SoothingDave, I choose A.

7.I choose B, because I think blank needs to be adjective, so there are two choices. I think introducing remarks = remarks that is introducing something, sounds not weird.
