    can delay her trip

    Are these sentences right?

I plan to take a few days off work the first week of July so that I can spend some time with my friend who is visiting me in Hong Kong at that time. But there is an important training program happening at my company the first week of July which I want to attend. I will check to see if my friend can delay her trip to the second week of July.

Those sentences are just fine. I hope everything works out OK.

    Re: can delay her trip

The only changes I would make are "I will check to see if my friend can postpone her trip until the second week of July", but your original is OK.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
