The AC only makes things cooler.
Simply ask: Is the temperature all right? Would you like it any warmer or cooler?

Can I shorten the sentences, is this sentence correct?:

Would/Do you want to make the air con/temperature warmer/colder?

You have been given several more natural alternatives. Why are you still trying to come up with less natural ones?

I am just trying to shorten it, as a taxi driver I am repeating the same sentence everyday, short and sweet is better. If it cannot/can be shorten, you can say so, why not let me improve my English by answering my question on #22? You can also correct any mistakes.

I think it can be shortened to 'Do you want the temperature warmer/cooler?', but I don't know whether it is natural.

You should consider using natural English, goodstudent.

Then just say "Is the temperature okay?"
They will tell you to make it warmer or make it cooler or that it's fine. You will do the right thing with the heating/cooling system in your car.

For about the 12th time in this thread, do not say "air con"!

If it's a cold day ask them if they are warm enough. If it's a hot day, ask them if they are too hot. The weather should generally guide you towards simple, clear question. If it's minus 10 outside, why would you be asking me if I want things cooler or warmer? You can then crank the air-con up or down. ;-)

In the winter, we use the car's heater. In the summer, we use the car's air conditioning.

As the others have said, just ask "Is the temperature OK for you?" The answer you get will dictate whether you turn on/off the heater/air con.
