    (from) where?

    Hi everyone,
I have a doubt about relative pronouns. Are the following sentences all correct? is it just a matter of formal register (sentence 1-2)?
    1) this is the city from where Peter comes?
    2) this is the city where Peter comes from?
    3) This is the city Peter comes from

thank you for your precious help.

    Re: (from) where?

In international English, you have a question, not a doubt.

Sentence 3 would be correct if it ended with a period. Replacing where with which would make 1 and 2 correct if they began with a capital letter and ended with a period.

Do you really think, 'This is the city which Peter comes from.' is a correct sentence?

    Re: (from) where?

That's exactly what I'd say I'm not a native speaker though.
Please, correct all my mistakes. I should know English perfectly and if you show me my mistakes I will achieve my dream a little bit faster. A lot of thanks.

Yes, it's OK. I find it a little inelegant though. That would be better than which, but many AmE speakers don't make that distinction.

    Re: (from) where?

It was a mistake to use the word 'correct'. I was quoting from your post. 'Natural' would have been more appropriate.

Anyway, it was only a question, not a declaration. This is a declaration. As a native speaker I would only use 'that' in that particular sentence.
