    To entertain his

Would you please help me with my sentences and correct my grammar and punctuation?

To entertain his children, Peter would sometimes dress like a clown. He would pull faces, play gags, do handstands, strum on a guitar, sing funny songs, and even climb on the roof.

It's all fine except "play gags". A "gag" is a joke so you "tell jokes".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    emsr2d2,
I know that you tell jokes, but how to describe when you do not tell them, but mimic them? Is it possible to mimic jokes?

    Re: To entertain his

I think you mean "mime", not "mimic". "Mimic" means to copy, to pretend to be someone else.

I would just say he "does funny mime[s]".
