    Smile My shirt was missing one.

    Hello. I'm wonderinf if the underlined sentence is correct or not.
    It seems awkward to me. I think "I lost one on my shirt." is better. What do you think? Thank you.

    Your alternative suggestion would be better as 'I lost one off/from my shirt', but the original is just fine.

    I think 'missing' can be used in 'One was missing from my shirt'.
