    It would have surpised him if she had been angry or made a scene, or if she had cried; he could have copied with that; but her calmness frightened him.

    Is the sentence above grammatically correct?
    Please, correct all my mistakes. I should know English perfectly and if you show me my mistakes I will achieve my dream a little bit faster. A lot of thanks.
