    Maisie would laught at him

    Dick was certain that Maisie would have laughted at him if he had been forced to wear spectacles.

    Dick was certain that Maisie would laught at him if he forced to wear spectacles.

    I personally think both sentences are OK but they should be used in different contexts. Am I right?
