    A sentence from Nietzsche

Hi, there, Here is a sentence quoted from an English translation of Nietzsche: "But you will never find someone who could completely mock you, the individual, even in your best qualities, someone who could bring home to you as far as truth allows your boundless, fly- and frog-like wretchedness"
I don't understand the meaning of "the individual", my question is: what does the "the" refer to?
Besides, does the phrase "even in your best qualities" should be understood as part of "But you will never find someone who could completely mock you", or part of "someone who could bring home to you as far as truth allows your boundless, fly- and frog-like wretchedness"
Thank you for reading my question and have a nice day.

It's addressing the reader; you, the individual reader/person.
This is a common construction in English.

Consider, for example, a judge addressing a landlord in court:
I note that the tenant hasn't paid you, the landlord, any rent for the past six months.

    It fits with the former.
