    log onto

    Are these sentence right?

I am frustrated as I was unable to log onto my computer this morning. I am now waiting for the computer guy to come by to fix my computer.

    Re: log onto

You were unable to use your computer. You log onto a website (like this one).

    Is it working now?

    Re: log onto

With a work computer, you often do have to log in/log on.
I would use two words: log in/log on (I see no difference in this case.) I use "login" as a noun meaning the credentials or the screen you use to log in.

I couldn't get into mine this morning either.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Re: log onto

If the computer is password protected and has accounts, you have to log in.
