    Lowness of chair

I am suffering from spinal TB, its been four months since my treatment started now it seems I can sit on couch but I am not sure so I have to ask this to doctor.

I can lower myself while sitting upto a level so, Would it be correct to say "Can I start sitting on chairs, no matter how low it is? Does the lowness of seat matter"?

    May you recover quickly, tufguy!

Why don't you use "Does the height of the seat matter?" I think it conveys the same meaning.
