    adoption, acceptance

    Hi,

I would like to know what is the difference between the following terms; adoption, acceptance. Could one use them interchangeably?
for example could we say "technology acceptance life cycle" instead of " technology adoption life cycle"?

    Thank you

    Re: adoption, acceptance

What are they supposed to mean?
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”

    Re: adoption, acceptance

Unfortunately, I have no more context to provide you. I've been encountering these two terms frequently reading articles and I can't figure out what the difference is between them.
Does "adoption" mean merely taking something in order to try a technology (in these case)? Whereas "acceptance" may come after "adoption" when it's already tested and shown be useful.

    Re: adoption, acceptance

Next time you encounter them in an article, please make a note of the full context and the entire sentence and then post it here.

Your suggested understanding of the terms seems likely but we can't give an educated opinion without the context.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
