A part from an interview wants to be figured out

I am having a little trouble transcribing and translating an interview I'm attaching to this post:

I more or less figured all parts except this one:

    1. 3:50 - 4:17. Unfortunately I'm not too good at astronomy and geometry (and the speaker seems to be a bit abrupt in his explanation too), so I'd really appreciate it if someone transcribed that part for me and maybe provided a little clarifying explanation of what the speaker meant.

Also, I don't understand what his first words in that segment (That's what came after) should be linked to: did he mean that he started making music at night when he got the title? Or he ignores that 'making music at night' question and just keeps exlaining the title?

I will be very thankful for any help.
