Here is another completion of sentence question. Thanks for your attention.
The answer is B. The problem is that what did the option B says?In tropical grassland or savanna areas, trees may be found frequently, ____
A) but savanna grasslands are located between humid tropical regions and dry deserts
B) whereas temperate or semitropical grassland areas have very little tree growth.
C) Since hot summers and limited precipitation allow for very short growth periods of vegetation
D) because temperate grasslands are an important resource for plant-eating animals
E) and therefore vast areas of this type of grassland are not covered by trees
Premise 1- the number of tree is little in semitropical grassland.
Premise 2- the number of tree is normal semitropical grassland. The length of tree is little in semitropical grassland .
How can I differentiate between premise 1 and 2?
I think the confusion comes from the phrase very little tree growth. This means that few trees grow in the areas mentioned.
