    Why not ask Rose...?

    Is negative a positive?

"Why not ask Rose if she won't assist you in your search to find a career?"

    Re: Is negative a positive?

It's just a different way of asking "Why don't you ask Rose if she will assist you ...?" Both constructions are used colloquially but I would stick with the version I have given in this post in exams etc, unless you are taking an oral exam being conducted by a native speaker who is going to be impressed by advanced, native-like constructions. A non-native examiner might think your original version is a mistake.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Note that the stress in on 'assist', not on 'won't', as you might normally expect.
