    To make preparations

    Tell me why it is correct - ' The teacher didn't seem to have DONE much preparation for class'.
    I know the collocaction 'to MAKE preparation'.

    I would use 'done', not 'made'.

    2.plans or ​arrangements that you make to ​prepare for something:
    [+ to infinitive] We are making preparations to ​fly Mr Goodall to the ​nearesthospital.

    Is it right to say : You should do much preparation for the lesson to have a good mark.
