    Cool handful

"As I think about NewZealand (cricket team), my mid races to two people. One has moved on from the game and the other from this world. I'll miss my friend and erstwhile KKR teammate Brendon McCullum. On Indian pitches he could have been a handful. Also, as a leader he'd have been a pillar in the New Zealand dressing room." In the above para, what does "to be handful" mean.

    Re: handful

Have a look at the third definition here: http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dict...nglish/handful
“Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.”
