[General] I really need help: is this sentence correctly written?

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me with one sentence!
I am not native speaker, so I am not really sure if I can say it like that. It is really important so I would appreciate your help and I would be very thankful!
The question is if this sentence is correctly written: She’d particularly loved the animal sanctuary and the lambs at the farm, and I’d lost count of many times she’d come for dinner.
What I want to know is if there can used the word many in this sentence. Is this correct?

I would use 'How' before many or 'The number of ' instead 'many'.
