    depends

    1) "At the moment it is not depending on us."

    Did I say it wrongly?

    2) We have done everything we could, the rest depends on the other side.

Seems to me that the first sentence is wrong. How shall I say it then (meaning what I said in 2).

    Thank you.

    Re: depends

You have been asked twice to give your thread titles more than single words.

    Re: depends

I gave you my reason for a short title twice as well.
I am afraid to use the title with mistakes in it and then it will stay like that for ever. It is too easy to remember the wrong construction.
What if I use " it is not depending on us" as a title and it is wrong?

    Re: depends

It doesn't matter if your title is grammatically incorrect if the words in it are actually the words/phrases you are querying.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: depends

I would probably not use "depends" with "it". If you want to say something is not your responsibility you could say:

    It's not up to me.

    OR

    It's not up to us.

    Otherwise, you could say:

    He/She is depending on us.

    OR

    They are depending on us.
