    embassy variation

Another question. Hope it's alright, if I open a new topic.
I'm thinking of to use the word "embassy" in a new context and would like to know, if this would be possible. I'd like to use it for an store offering luxury consume goods. Example:"(the) embassy of art" or "(the) embassy of fashion". I imagine the store as a kind of "institution" to promote special products and because there is no other shop offering products like I will. I'm not a native english speaker, so it's a big problem for me to find the right words... Thanks in advance.

    Re: embassy variation

I don't think it's a good choice, because of the meaning of embassy. Merely liking the sound of the word is not a good reason to choose it. Start by thinking about what defines the business and arrive at a word from there, instead of trying to make the meaning fit the word.

How about calling it "The Hip, Trendy, Artsy-Fartsy Store"? (I'm joking!)
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Fashion Embassy sounds better to me.
