    There are a few regrettable things.

    There are few regrettable things, which we like as student but they are not good for our future. Also there are few things those, our elders think, are good for us but actually they are not.

    No. Say:

    There are a few regrettable things which we like as students, but they are not good for us. Also, there are a few things that our elders think are good for us, but they are not.
