Re: What do you do for a living. ?

    I'm a full-time student.
    I'm a history teacher.
    I'm an electrician.
    I'm a full-time mom.
I'm between jobs but looking for work as a bookkeeper.
    I work at a daycare.
I work at a bowling alley.
    I'm retired.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

Your question mark will get lonesome all by itself. Put it at the end of the sentence. Space after, not before.

Re: What do you do for a living. ?

Here's how to ask your question:

Yesterday someone asked me "What do you do for a living?" How should I answer him?

Only the first letters of sentences, and proper nouns and titles, are capitalized (written with an initial capital letter).
    I am not a teacher.

It is the same as asking: What is your occupation?
    I am not a teacher.

But we wouldn't use that in casual conversation.
