    No, tedmc, that's not correct.

    You can either set off the name with a pair of commas so it's an appositive (usually the name first and then the title would come after) or leave it with no commas as a type of title, but you cannot use just one comma.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
