    Pronouns in formal contexts

    Hello:

Might you tell me which of the following sentence would be the correct one in a formal context?

I enjoy dealing with XXX, and I am able to inspire and lead others.

    or

I enjoy dealing with XXX, and am able to inspire and lead others.

Thank you very much for your help and deference.

    Re: Pronouns in formal contexts

    Hello José

I don't myself detect any difference in formality; only in rhythm.

So I would class it as a stylistic choice, rather than a choice based on register.

    (Other members may disagree, though!)
