Re: The Fiction of Reality, part one

    Say:

But let's assume I was a manipulator INTERESTED in her supple body.

Re: The Fiction of Reality, part one

Why would a male be interested in a supple body and not a voluptuous body?
I am not a teacher or a native speaker.

    tedmc.
I would like to answer your question, but I believe they would ban me from this forum. I have heard that men like to say that they like to show up with a slim woman, but they like to go to bed with a fat one.

I love that line about the supple body. It stimulates my imagination.

Re: The Fiction of Reality, part one

    Tarheel,

Today I was at the university library. I saw many dozens of supple bodies. I am glad I do not study. It would be difficult to concentrate on reading among so many women around.

Re: The Fiction of Reality, part one

You don't need "had" in the following sentence, and you don't need "the" either. Instead, say:

What the young American student experienced, psychologists call cognitive dissonance.

Re: The Fiction of Reality, part one

We're making progress. We have now gotten to the sentence after the one about her supple body. Say:

My approach would be different FROM the first one.

Re: The Fiction of Reality, part one

As I will demonstrate, I think the following sentence should be in present tense. Say:

...and tell her how grateful we Bosniaks ARE that the US finally CAME to our rescue and SAVED us from extermination.

Re: The Fiction of Reality, part one

    Say:

I would be observant about how our conversation progressed, and I would offer to show her around town, to take her to see tourist attractions, galleries, and museums.

Re: The Fiction of Reality, part one

    Last paragraph. Say:

To impress her, I would take her to a restaurant where I know the owner and staff, and they would crack jokes with me, and we would drink the best wine and eat some wonderful food.
