    Desperately need help.

I have tried everything I know. How do you make the following plural and show possession?

    three finch nest

What do you do to finch to pluralize it and make it show possession and why?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello Ex, welcome to UE!

The plural of "finch" is "finches".

The possessive plural is simply an apostrophe, except in a few irregular cases ("children's", "men's", "mice's", etc.).

So in your sentence, it would be:

    1. Three finches' nests.

(What kind of finches were they, by the way?)
