    How to improve lighting

I am writing a paragraph, I am not sure whether it is correct. Would you please take it a look?

There has to be a plan to resolve the situation. It depends on what the problem is with each of the lights. Some of the lights need repair because the bulbs are out, and others don't have enough lighting. The workers need to bring some lighting equipment and use it to fix the lights. Fixing lights is the only way to improving lighting on campus. Currently, the school campus has 18 available parking lots.

    Thanks,

    Re: How to improve lighting

    Say:

Fixing lights is the only way to improve lighting on campus.

What do you mean by "enough lighting"? The lights aren't bright enough? Or something else?
