    table tennis doubles or singles?

How do you say 2 players' table tennis match and 4 players'(2 against 2)?
table tennis(ping pong) doubles and table tennis(ping pong) singles respectively?

Re: table tennis doubles or singles?

Surely it would be singles and doubles respectively, as you've set up the sentence.

Note that serious players object to 'ping pong'. Stick to 'table tennis'.

Are these ok? Also I wonder why they are plural forms instead of "double" and "single".
    1. I played in table tennis doubles.
    2. I played in table tennis singles.

    I find both unnatural.

I played in the singles table tennis [tournament/competition].
I played in the doubles table tennis [tournament/competition].

I used to play table tennis. We always played doubles though - singles was too tiring!
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

In a singles match, you have one single at each end - singles. Same principle for doubles.
