    feeling fearful and being fearful.

    Is it correct to say.

    "i was feeling fearful."
    I was being fearful."

    Are both grammatically correct?
    Are both natural?

    Regards

Re: feeling fearful and being fearful.

Yes, they're grammatical as you're using fearful as an adjective.

They don't sound especially natural to my ears, but they could work naturally in the right place.

Re: feeling fearful and being fearful.

The natural way to say this is "I was afraid."

There are specific times when you want to use "I was being..." -- I was acting out of character for me, temporarily.
Last night at the party, I was being a jerk. I'm sorry about that. I was having a bad day, but you didn't deserve that.

I can't make a "I was being fearful" sentence sound natural without putting a lot of thought into the context.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
