    I'm not a teacher. I speak American English. I've tutored writing at the University of Southern Maine and have done a good deal of copy editing and writing, occasionally for publication.

    I've lost track of the whole thing!

    Just remember this: if it ends with a question mark, it can't start with "How to".

    The exception to this is with tag questions.

    How to ask a question?
    "How to ask a question?" is incorrect, isn't it?
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
