    lesser/less (object) as compared to

Now here we are making a comparison between one academy with many others out there and we are using "as compared to" not "than".

    1. They charge lesser fee as compared to the other academies out there.
    2. They charge less fee as compared to the other academies out there.
    3. They charge lower fee as compared to the other academies out there.

(None of the above statements sounds natural to me, what about you, can you suggest a natural way in which we can use the object "fee"?)

    Now without the object "fee".

    1. They charge lesser as compared to the other academies out there.
    2. They charge less as compared to the other academies out there.
    3. They charge lower as compared to the other academies out there.

(The second one sounds natural to me, what do you think? Can you rephrase it in a much natural way?)

Re: lesser/less (object) as compared to

    These are natural:

They charge lower fees than the other academies there.
They charge less than the other academies there.
Their fees are lower than those of the other academies there.
