    really took good care of

She really took good care of me, and one thing I remembered about her is that she wrote a letter to me at times. furtheromre(furthermore), she favored me over everyone else.
===============================================1. Does it make sense to say "She really took good care of me,"?

Yes, both underlined phrases make good sense.

Re: really took good care of

And I'd pluralize "letter," because "at times" tells us she sent more than one.
I'm not a teacher. I speak American English. I've tutored writing at the University of Southern Maine and have done a good deal of copy editing and writing, occasionally for publication.
