    Ways of Asking Date

Can we say "What date is today?" to ask today's date? Or "What date is it today?" is better.
Other ways such as "what's the date today?" or "What is today's date?", which one is more common to use?
    Thank you very much.

They are all possible. I say, "What's the date today?" Your first suggestion is not as good as the others.

    Re: Ways of Asking Date

Raymott's choice is my first choice, too. And I also say "What is today's date?" sometimes.
