to approve financial aid(s) to this project

"All the people want to know whether the government will approve financial aids to this project."
Is this sentence correct? Is “financial aids” correct? I think it is an uncountable noun, so the pluralization of it is not good here, and it should be just “financial aid”. Am I right? Thanks!

'Aid' can be a countable noun, but I agree that it should be uncountable in your example.
