You probably should use "likelihood" there. You know it's possible. You are just at that point hoping it won't happen.

Chapter five. You could say they killed other because of disputes over territory. (The Croatians didn't want to be part of Greater Serbia.)

Say:

My father went to his funeral, which was one of the most well-attended funerals the town had ever seen.

Is it possible that the hospital ran out of sulfa? (I had an infection once. They gave me sulfa, which killed the bacteria causing the infection.)

Americans do not, I think, understand the rest of the world very well. We have been at peace with our neighbors for well over a century. In other parts of the world there are animosities that are centuries old. We are very lucky, and for the most part we do not understand how lucky we are.

Regarding the flag, it was the Yugoslav national flag because Bosnia in 1991 was still part of Yugoslavia.

I am wondering if my sentence would be correct if I rephrase it like this?

People in Bosnia must be wiser than those in the neighbouring country were who killed each other because of disputes over territory.

Like that! Only it would be more natural to use the name of the country if you are talking about one country in particular. But aren't we talking about two countries, in which case it would be "neighboring countries"?

At that time the war was raging in Croatia. Maybe I should write my sentence like this:

People in Bosnia must be wiser than those in Croatia who killed each other because of disputes over territory.
