    Post Is it correct?

    Could you please check this sentence? I would like to use the adverbial phrase "account for" in the folllowing sentence:

    "THis can be accounted for by learners' attention was higher when watching a video because it may stand as a better retrieving clue".
    or

    "THis can be accounted for the fact that learners' attention was higher when watching a video because it may stand as a better retrieving clue".
