When a child has one end of a noodle in his mouth and the rest of it dangling below, do you say Sip it / Sip the noodle?

You could sip the broth/soup the noddles come in from a spoon, but you wouldn't sip the noodles themselves.

No. Never. We eat noodles. Sipping is drinking tiny amounts. A sip is a tiny amount of a drink.

VERY informally, you could say "slurp" or "slurp up." With noodles, that's about as close to "sip" as we ever get. But unlike sipping, slurping is messy and can involve splashing.

Slurping is bad manners. You would never tell a child to slurp. You would tell a child NOT to slurp.
