    Hello. Would you please explain the underlined sentence?
    I think it means "That's why I wrote this book." Am I right?

    It's an idiom. It means: This is where my skills are needed, this is when I'm needed."
    I'm not a teacher. I speak American English. I've tutored writing at the University of Southern Maine and have done a good deal of copy editing and writing, occasionally for publication.
