Smile overdoing it in the Delusions of Grandeur department

Hello. Would you please explain the underlined part?
Does it mean "Romantic travel is falling deep into the delusions of grandeur"?
    Thank you.

------from Le Road Trip by Vivian Swift
    Romantic travel is:
-Renewing a lost spirituality-or searching for its meaning for the first time.
-Melding yourself into the glorious community of global humanity.
-Overdoing it a bit in the Delusions of Grandeur department.

Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Yes- it's having an excessive delusion of grandeur. It's rather a neat phrase to me.
