    Write-up of yourself

    Hello,

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me what 'write-up of yourself' means.

Does that mean 'personal narrative essay'?

    Thanks for your help.

It doesn't mean anything to me. What context did you see this in?

    Re: Write-up of yourself

A technical writing firm asked me to send a write-up about myself, and I can not figure out what is it that they want. I am just guessing by their response to my question,"Do you need my CV?" and they said," Would you send us a write-up of yourself instead " that it could be personal narrative essay.

Ah, context is everything! Yes, you understood their request correctly.

    Re: Write-up of yourself

You're correct; they're asking you to write about yourself, your strengths, weaknesses etc.
