    John felt important

Would you please correct my mistakes in the following sentences?

    1. John felt important being invited to his boss' home to a dinner.
    2. The President stressed the importance of unity in the country during the economic crises.
    3. Full of his importance, the man strode into the hall, went up the stairs to the rostrum and made a speech.

    Re: John felt important

    Some suggestions:

    1. …to his boss's home for dinner.

    2. Do you mean crises or crisis?

    3. …went up the steps… seems more likely than up the stairs.

    Roman55,

    Thank you for your corrections.

    Re: John felt important

I'd use "Full of his own importance" in #3.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
