    Subjunctive mood

    Are the following sentences correct and they have same grammarical meaning?

    If I were doctor I would cure many people.
    If I were doctor I were to cure many people.

    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
