    huge backlog

    Are these sentences right?

I talked to my friend yesterday. She told me she is very busy as she has a huge backlog which she needs to clear.

    Re: huge backlog

Put a comma after "busy" and you're there.
I'm not a teacher. I speak American English. I've tutored writing at the University of Southern Maine and have done a good deal of copy editing and writing, occasionally for publication.
